Call for papers: Philobiblon – Transylvanian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in the Humanities

The journal Philobiblon – Transylvanian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in the Humanities, indexed in international databases (Clarivate Analitics – Master Journal List, Emerging Citation Index, Erih+, ProQuest, Scopus SciVerse, EBSCO), published by the “Lucian Blaga” Central University Library of Cluj-Napoca, welcomes scholarly articles and book reviews for its upcoming issue published in June 2020. The journal, as well as each of its issues has Digital Object Identifiers (DOI). Each article published in our journal also receives its own DOI.

Philobiblon encourages interdisciplinary studies in various fields of the humanities. The primary condition for publication is that the subject of the submitted article should fit the framework set by the logo Ideas-Books-Society-Readings. Articles submitted should be multidisciplinary in their approach, and deal with subjects in the areas of (including, but not limited to) history, history of culture, philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, anthropology, sociology, literary theory and criticism, linguistics, art history, and library and information science.

We prefer articles submitted in English, but we also accept texts in Romanian and Hungarian. After the articles have been accepted by the internal reviewers, the editorial office may require that the author submit an English translation of his/her text.
The articles submitted for publication should not exceed 50.000 characters, including the footnotes and annexes.

Our journal does not charge publication fees.
